Starting off in the 1960s as a series of informal mass gatherings of students, Australia + New Zealand Student Architecture Congress has since become an established conference, visiting cities in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea at least 30 times. Since then it has featured world renowned architects, designers and thinkers including Cedric Price, Buckminster Fuller, Glenn Murcutt, Peggy Deamer, Sarah Wigglesworth and even our 21st Prime Minister Gough Whitlam! This year, for the first time since 1999, the Australasian Student Architecture Congress will be take place Sydney between the 28th November – 2nd December!

 

This year, approximately 300+ students,graduates and architects from all around Australasia will come to Sydney for 5 days of workshops, tours, keynotes, debates and of course parties! The congress is titled AGENCY2017 and will be attended by invited academics, designers, architects and students from around Australasia and the world. Come and be a part of the largest student architecture congress experience in Australasia!

 

Today we are proud to announce our huge list of workshops run by Sydney’s foremost architectural practices and institution. Run on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings of the congress, the workshops take the form of site visits, architecture tours, sketching, model making, design/build and many more! Each congress attendee can book up to two workshops on our new online booking system. You will need your ticket codes to sign up and reservations will be on a first come first serve basis.

 

With the release of the final programme, we have released a limited supply of single day tickets due to popular demand. Single day tickets include access to all activities on the chosen day (workshops+keynotes), as well as morning and afternoon tea and a special invitation to our secret closing party on the 1st Dec.
