During a project’s life, the architect takes a lead design role, co-ordinating and providing direction for a team of project consultants focused on delivering a successful outcome for our clients.
Activities our architects are involved in on a regular basis include; project research, site investigation, sketch and design modelling, developed design solutions, safety in design, resource consent applications, project design meetings, working drawings, architectural detailing, building consent applications, specification writing, materials schedules, project programming and budgets, furniture, fittings and equipment schedules, site visits, construction contracts, defects inspections and building code compliance.

You will also have the opportunity to work on our well-established community, food & beverage, industrial and infrastructure projects – we encourage you to broaden your consulting experience by telling us what areas interest you.
●Multiple career path options including technical leadership, team management, project management and business development.
●A mentoring programme that provides the opportunity to be guided by a more experienced colleague.
●Encouragement and support to attain professional registration. (eg NZRAB)
●The opportunity to be part of our lively social scene. Each office has a social club that organises a range of activities, from ski trips and dragon boating, to cocktail parties, a mid-winter ball, movie nights and even comedy shows.
●Plenty of opportunities available outside your immediate job if you are interested. These include involvement with industry organisations, schools and tertiary organisations.
