EBOSS – Architectural Products Content Assistant

EBOSS is looking for a senior student for PT work 20-30 hours/week, based in their office in Parnell. They have employed senior students to sub-edit product information that is loaded onto the EBOSS website – in particular ensuring that the product descriptions and technical summary is readable. The last two students they employed ended up with substantial product knowledge and have gone on to WAM & Assemble.

Part-time – 30hrs

EBOSS is a specialist digital marketing agency and a leading publisher of product information to the architectural and design industry in New Zealand. Alongside our content platform and marketing services, EBOSS also facilitates and hosts industry training and events within the architectural and builder community.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Content team as Content Assistant. Based in Parnell, you will work closely with the Content team to coordinate the client onboarding process, manage the creation of product catalogues as well as marketing and other content activities.

Key responsibilities

Your primary focus will be to review product content and ensure it meets our exacting standards before publishing. You will work on creating and uploading new product catalogues, as well as checking existing catalogs for accuracy. Published content must meet the high EBOSS standard that architects and design professionals need to make product selections, design and prepare construction documentation.

You will also help with weekly content curation, checking and sub-editing Product News articles, applying the House Style guide and general website updates.

What we’re looking for in you

Spotted the mistake yet? Good! You’re exactly the type of person we need.

  • Excellent knowledge of spelling and grammar
  • Clear, concise written communication
  • Personable, a confident communicator with clients and EBOSS staff
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documents and product literature (an understanding of architectural terms and building products would be useful)
  • Comfortable working in a Mac environment and using a range of different software applications
  • Content Management System (CMS) experience
  • Would suit a mature student or someone looking to return to work
